I am not religious, but I appreciate traditions, especially those that have accepted modernity and reformed to suit the times.

But I have a problem with Islam with all the research I have done over the years.

Particularly when the Muslim jihadis kill anybody that is easy to acess. In Baghdad the Christians. This is beyond shame.

Where are the moderates? Where is the United Nations Human Rights Commission?

Enough with the condemnations.

Its the unfortunate truth that Christians were more safe under Saddam Hussein than now. Most Assyrian, Chaldean and Syriac Orthodox Christians were supporters of Saddam's Secularist Baath Party. The fact that 400,000 Christians have left "free" Iraq speaks volumes about the Islamic "democracy" of Iraq.

Please. Christians, Jews, Buddhists, Hindus, all spiritual people are not safe in the Muslim culture of the Middle East and European nations (EurArabia) that accepted them with open arms. People, other than Muslims, are afraid to enter the Muslim districts. Even cops.

And iow about this: In England a Muslim cop does not have to protect a Jew.

A Muslim said I would find the link Tarek Fatah's book "Chasing A Mirage" interestiing. It is the usual. Fatah has experienced the fundamentalists and has read the Koran several times. For others to comment check my weblog piece and the comment section...

I reviewed Tarek Fatah's book, Chasing a Mirage (2008), here. I think you'll find it interesting.

It is valuable for us to look at all sorts of opinions, and it is also vital to know when information if factual or falsehood.
