|
|
There seems to be increasing amounts of Liberals who have signed up for right of twitter and are showing up on the Blogging Tories main page banner.
Yesterday there was a libellous and slanderous twitter pseudo- PM Harper http://twitter.com/pmoharper. Today we have links directly to Liberal.ca via http://twitter.com/stratosphear | Quote: | | Bio Smalltown boy from the big city. Liberal. Eccentric friends. Er ... stuff. |
I don't really follow twitter or understand how it works, but I wonder why the liberals are permitted to join the right of twitter list and annoy us who regularly read the Blogging Tories. |

| It does get annoying but I wouldn't worry about it for the long term as Twitter has given away the free crack long enough and are now planning on charging for its use. That should put an end to most of it. |

Really? Is this one of those rumours like Facebook or Hotmail suddenly charging for their services, or is it confirmed?
As far as liberals showing up, my understanding of how Twitter works is that anyone who puts the '#roft' in their message will automatically contribute to the feed. I'm not sure if people can be banned from it. |

| It is rumour at this point but you can't blame them for trying to make a few bucks off of their amazingly popular little idea. |

I do like the idea of the banner from a group of twitter subscribers to "Right of Twitter" there have been many excellent 'as it happens posts'. My concern was about the increasing amount of Leftist twitter twit trolls on "Right of twitter"
Update: I fear that I have drawn attention to the problem ....

about 1 hour ago from web Harper wants to raise taxes too. #roft
about 2 hours ago from web If you mess with me I will mess with your twitter feed until I am done. #roft

Update: Got to love the Liberal spin... Above I mentioned that I have no idea how twitter works and wonder why Liberals are allowed to troll on Right of twitter...
And my personal lack of knowledge about twitter becomes this ?
| Quote: | | stratosphear: Love the Blogging Tories' musing about "banning" people from using #roft - shall we #lpc and #cdnleft types have some fun today? :) |
Spin liberal twit troll spin! ...

Anyone who puts #roft in their twitter post appears on the top of Blogging Tories. I'm surprised it took Liberal trolls a month to figure this out.
But, I knew it would happen and it has one hugely positive effect:
it lights a fire under the butts of conservatives to contribute more to the discussion on twitter. In fact a few conservatives signed up for twitter just to push down the twitter spam.
I'd encourage everyone here to contribute to the community on twitter. We should maintain dominance online. |
