|
|
| Hey I was wondering if there was anyway that we could limit the amount of topic hijacking that's occurring in the forums. It seems that every topic quickly gets taken over by pot legalization debates or by don muntean's crazy conspiracy theory. It may be one reason why some people might be holding off from participating in the discussions. |

The man has a point...
At least the constant pot debate has been taken care of for the most part.
Perhaps a good spot to start would be simply asking Don to stop going on and on about what he claims happened to him..
I'm not sure we've actually tried that yet... we've been rather fast to jump down his throat, and i'm not sure thats entirely fair to him(he does contribute to other posts, unlike the weed bros. hehehe). |

Yes it has. In the Arar vs. Truscott topic by me. It told him cut it out or he'd end up getting banned. |

Look again... Don's not happy with you...
Hijacking happens on all forums to some degree since conversations are dynamic. That being said, if someone is fanatical about a particular subject, it does get tiring quickly.

| We all expect it within reason - topics are dynamic as you say - but yes, when it is consistently about the same topic it is a pain. |

I've deleted the thread.
I know that this isn't ideal.
Next, I'll be banning the culprits if it happens again. |

He was just wondering why you made "empty" posts. Nothing inspirational. I thought you replied to him...

Devoid of meaningful (by his measure) content? It doesn't matter now, I guess. I still wonder if he has antenna like Uncle Martin?

Sorry, boss. Did I mention that's a particularly handsome tie you're wearing today? :D
