There are a few good ones out there. Just want to make sure that I'm not missing any.
Plus, why are they your favourite? |

Michael Coren!
I remember listening to him one time years ago having a discussion during a major labour disruption... a kid called his call-in show on CFRB, and when asked how he felt about it, he started spouting off union rhetoric, word for word. No kidding, this kid could have been no older than 10... no doubt he was put up to it by his CAW or CUPE card carrying parents. Michael stops the kid mid-sentence, and asks him a couple of questions:
Michael - "Excuse me, sorry for interrupting, but I have a question for you... are you old enough to buy alcohol?"
Kid - "No."
Michael - "Are you old enough to smoke?"
Kid - "Amm, no."
Michael - "Are you old enough to vote?"
Kid - "Amm, no I'm not."
Micheal - "Well then, tell you what... why don't you call back sometime WHEN YOU'RE OLD ENOUGH TO HAVE AN OPINION." - CLICK -
ZING!!! I bust out laughing my head off driving down the 401. Oh what I would have give to see his union parents faces... |

Rutherford is the guy for me. I generally agree with his positions, especially with regard to Alberta's position in the Confederation.
I dislike Leslie Preimo(sp), she's an obnoxious loudmouth and NDP to boot! |

I love Jeff Allan on Newstalk 570. He is always entertaining and outspoken. Don't always agree with him, but he is the best talk-show host in this area.
Oh, and did I mention that he is conservative? Not sure if he belongs to the party, but he says many people accuse him of "bleeding blue". :D |

| I always listen to the Penn Jillette radio show. He's a very hardcore libertarian and quite funny. At 2pm ET you can listen live at www.pennradio.com or have archieved mp3 files of every radio show (started in January 2006) at www.pennfans.net. |

| Can anyone recommend links to Canadian hosts with online archives? For various reasons, I don't have radio access when most news shows are on the air... |

| Coren is an idiot obviously, everybody is old enough to have an opinion, sounds to me like coren acts like any other neocon host when confronted with any opinion that differs from his own. I listen to Adler every day even though sometimes I want to choke the life out of his pompous ass. The whole chorus radio network is nothing but a conservative campaign slogan. They are so biased their budget should be included in the campaign financing spending limits. The cons are just as corrupt as the liberals were. Tony Clement is the health minister with a 1/4 interest in a pharmaceutical company(can anyone say conflict of interest?) Vic Toews the christian fundamentalist justice minister can't even serve on a jury because he was convicted of breaking campaign finance laws in Manitoba. And stephen Harper appoints a his buddy to the senate and places him, unelected into a cabinet position. Not to mention the idiot who gets elected as a liberal and a few days later is a con cabinet minister. |

| Rob Breakenridge is probably one of the best up and coming conservative talk show hosts. HE's one of the smartest and astute guys on the radio. Sadly he is only on Calgary AM 770 7-9 weeknights, though I'm sure he will get a national program sooner or later. |

| Charles Adler for sure. although he does tend to go off on some wacky pop culture topics sometimes, when he covers politics, no one does it better. |
