Is radical Islam a disease, a plague, that is spreading? Is George Soros part of the upheaval of Mubarak and several other Muslim countries ruled by dictators?

Michael Savage (www.michaelsavage.com) said that the uprising started 10 days ago while key Egyptian Military were in Washington discussing with American military. This would have been a great time to support a protest, or start one. Is he paranoid? A conspiracy nut on this one?

He added that they might not have expected such trumoil that would spread. They were probably hoping for some form of democracy that Obama and his clan and the elites that advised him, academics, would take credit for the takeover.

Then there is George Soros. Michael Savage doesn't fear a law suit. He added follow the money. A great time to make dollars on oil and to short the Egyptian dollar, as well as other Middle East countries.

For the enitre piece read the following link...

Obama and the Shadow Socialist Group Behind Egypt’s Fall?
http://www.michaelsavage.wnd.c.....-Rev03.pdf

Obama’s words to the contrary, it’s highly likely that our president had a strong hand in bringing about the riots in Egypt. Beyond that, he was aided and abetted by the very man who engineered the financial meltdown that enabled Obama to get elected in the first place: George Soros.

The U.S. knew as early as December, 2008, that groups opposed to the Mubarak regime were already developing a plan to overthrow the Egyptian government. They received the information from a young dissident who the U.S. had sponsored to attend a meeting for international political activists that took place in New York City.

The problem is that in order for a country to hold “free” elections, it must have a democratic infrastructure, a democratic culture. In the most important sense, there is no Middle Eastern country that has this, except for Israel. Even our attempts to establish democracy in Iraq have done little to combat the influence of Iran or to insure that democracy will survive after we leave.

When you try to establish a democracy in the Middle East, Islamist radicals move in and take over.

The United States, upon realizing the seriousness of the situation in Egypt, should have immediately come to the aid of President Mubarack and the maintenance of stability in Egypt and the region. We should have deployed naval assets to the Suez Canal in order to protect that channel through which nearly 10 percent of the world’s goods pass on their way to their destinations. We should also have made it clear that we support our allies, Egypt and Israel, and we will do everything in our power to maintain the status quo, even as Egypt moves toward liberalizing its government.

We should also have made it clear that intervention by other countries, especially Iran, will not be tolerated. Obama needed to come down on the side of maintaining our allies in the region. Instead, he sided with Islamists.

Soros-funded “Expert” Defends Muslim Brotherhood on Matthews Show
http://www.aim.org/aim-column/soros-funded-“expert”-defends-muslim-brotherhood-on-matthews-show/

Chris Matthews has found an “expert” on Egypt he can trust and his name is Brian Katulis of the George Soros-funded Center for American Progress. He told Matthews on the Monday edition of Matthews’ MSNBC “Hardball” show that, on the matter of Egypt, “We have got to [go] beyond this addiction to dictators…” He welcomes the participation of the Muslim Brotherhood in a new Egyptian government, saying, “…let them be part of the Egyptian politics.”

SECULAR REVOLUTION HIGHJACKED BY ISLAMIC THUGS

Who will fill the vacuum? Regretfully the most likely answer is The Muslim Brotherhood (TMB) and their extreme Islamic fanatics with Mohamed ElBaradei as their figurehead puppet, rather than a secular liberal democratic government sustained by the broadly respected military.

Recall that ElBaradei is an anti-American leftist who was an apologist for Khamenei and Ahmedinejad’a nuclear ambitions. He is now the disingenuous mouthpiece for TMB which is an Islamic organization that has a brutal and sadistic history of terrorism, and also was the intellectual inspiration for the creation of terrorist organizations such as Al Qaeda and Hamas. Many believe that TMB was responsible for the assassination of Sadat. In 2008 TMB lionized bin Laden calling him a “mujahid”, a term of honor for a jihad warrior, and saying that he was not a terrorist. TMB’s mobs of thugs have now hijacked what began as a secular revolution concerned about living standards rather than religion.

Barack Hussein Obama and other westerner leaders should recall that TMB’s goal is not to establish a liberal democracy regime, but to impose Islamic totalitarianism, implement radical Islamic law as promoted by Al Qaeda, obliterate Israel and institute an Islamic Caliph. Could Egypt be the first of a succession of Islamic fascist governments that are immovably antagonistic to Western liberal democracies?

Regretfully much of the Western World has been courting and coddling radical Islamists for too many years. Many Western administrations have welcomed the Brotherhood’s Islamist associates such as CAIR, The Muslim American Society, the Islamic Society of North America, and radical, activist’s mosque even though some of them have supported Hamas. Barack Hussein Obama appears to think that he can work with these radical Islamists and has courted them; he invited TMB to his 2009 Cairo speech, and has supported the Ground Zero mosque activists.

Daniel Pipe, director of the Middle East Forum, advises that “Islamists wish to repeat their success in Iran by exploiting popular unrest to take power”

plantguy... your brief comment says it all about you — limited — in knowledge, research, experience and I could go on....

Michael Savage has the number three radio program in America for over a decade. He has been on longer. A self-made, wealthy fellow who could retire but he is a concerned conservative-patriot. Of course, he is often belicose and bias, but never in all the times I have listened to him is he uninformed and ill-informed. If he is not sure, doesn't have the facts or is ahead of the mainstream crowd he will say so, and add this is my opinion.

When he changes topics that do not interest me I listen to Sean Hannity or Mark Levin or Rush Limbaugh, and a few other American conservative talk radio hosts. I try to find Canadian radio programs, Toronto area, but those of Newstalk 1010 and 640 AM do not spend enough time on poltiics and foreign affairs, because their audience might get bored.

Who do you listen to, or what — carnivorous plants?

Perhaps like "bugs" or others on this forum you might take the time and make points why you disagree. But that is asking a bit much.

And how does plantguy figure Glen Beck is a "wack job", too? Because Beck is emotional and truthful. His truth, of course, and truth from facts he has access to.

Therefore, the millions of people who watch and listen to him, who purchsed his book
his bestselling book are also unhinged?

Yes, yoshi, it would be quite interesting to find out what people plantguy would choose and why?

The International Crisis Group that is mentioned is truly a scary group.
Loius Arbour is the current chair. This is no surprise.

What I would like to know is how many George Soros shadow groups are in Canada.

I challenge the Bloggingtorries to dig and find out !!!

Rather than jut pontificating, lets put our collective talent together and expose EVERY pot he has his finger in, in CANADA....

voshi... one of the most important issues in the world today is the spreading of the Islamists in any way possible. Clerics and radicals basically tell the Muslims: Spread out and procreate, we will outlast them."

I wonder what plantguy would think of Sean Hannity, another American Talk Show Host, radio and TV.

Hannity calls imam 'SOB' who says 'You can live under Sharia law' Video

Like other conservative forums there are those who are not conservative, but if they inform, challenge, comment then I don't mind. However, we once had a spine in this country. So lets see who else comments, or do they wish to bury their heads in other issues. And/or ridicule true conservatives whoa re patriotic.

This is not my website and forum.

I have been banned from another forum, with phony founders, for stanidng up for Prime Minister Harper, who in my estimation is one of the great leaders of his time and will go down in history as one of the best. Even if he doesn't win a majority.

I haven't had access to a computer for a couple of days to reply, but based on a couple of posts on this thread I think I'll stick by my original post. I think ,however, I'll look at adding some Alcan stock to my portfolio.I suspect that tin foil hat sales are going to go through the roof and I want t be on the ground floor.

IS OBAMA ABANDOING THE MID. EAST TO TERRORISTS?

Barrack Hussein Obama and his inexpert Secretary of State who is looking “over the horizon, as they throw Mubarak under the bus, should recall that The Muslin Brotherhood’ s goal is not to establish a liberal democracy regime, but to impose Islamic totalitarianism, implement radical Islamic Sharia law as promoted by Al Qaeda, obliterate Israel, politicize the strategically indispensable Mediterranean canal, and institute an Islamic Caliph. Could Egypt be the first of a succession of Islamic fascist governments that are immovably antagonistic to Western liberal democracies?
