FREDERICTON - Liberals in the federal riding of Fredericton will have to find a new candidate.


Pam Campbell, a retired educator who won the nomination just over a year ago, has decided to give it up.


Campbell is citing personal reasons for her withdrawal, saying "life changes."


She says a federal election seemed imminent at the time of her nomination, but that's no longer the case.


No date has been set to choose another candidate.


The riding is currently held by Conservative Keith Ashfield.
