Definately. The refrain I've heard most often on this issue from those I've spoken with has been that they need a real collapse of public support to move it off the front burner. I'm actually quite suprised at the lack of good polling that's been done since Climategate really got going.

I'm not suprised at all. There are many groups and people involved in the global warming scam. Some of them stand to lose their deluded image of themselves. Some stand to lose money. Some stand to lose power. The last thing they want now is a poll showing decline in public support for the swindle. But a poll will be done eventually. And the Globe, Red Star and others will put it near the back pages.
