I doubt that came from the Liberals. Iggy is facing an organized but annoymous campaign by somebody. You have Republicans.ca, and now this http://www.theglobeandmail.com.....le1254993/(they sent letters to everyone in the press gallery containing a British magazine article that portrays Iggy as more of a conservative (in terms of foreign policy).

The Liberals blame the CPC, but the only ones who could benifit from this are the Dippers.

This does not help the CPC because it may cause the people sitting in the ground between the CPC and the Liberals would tend to go the Liberals if they were more conservative.

I don't think Rae is behind it. The chances of the Liberals booting a leader before an election is nill. He would be smart to save his money and buy time.

On the other hand, if people think Iggy is the same thing as Harper, it woud drive the left leaning Liberals to NDP. And thats what all these documents seem to be trying to say, Iggy is an authoritarian conservative.

So the only people who would want to be doing this are the Dippers.

The word going around is that Rae wants to unite the Libs and NDP.

It's possible that this could be a joint NDP-Liberal project to replace Iggy with Rae and push through a merger.

I think that the Obama halo is wearing off for Iggy. People are looking at Obama's ineffectiveness and the massive debt that he is saddling America with and saying that they don't want that here in Canada.
