Wondering if the endorsement of your mpp / mp / former candidate etc , will effect your vote in the Ontario pc leadership race ?
but obvivously there is more conservative mp's in ontario than mpp's so more possible endorsements there over 24 member ontario pc caucus . but there all still sought after and seen as a boost to a leadership candidates campaign .

so would the endorsement of your mpp / etc , make you more likely to support that candidate or not ?

Aside from Mike Harris the only three folks in the current caucus who I have enough respect for as firm Conservatives are all running for the position.

Had Mike Harris backed Frank Klees I will admit that I would be torn, but aside from Mike there are not many folks who can sway my judgment.

was going to add my local mpp , has endorsed hudak from what i have read . that hasn't really changed my mind or moved me from the undecided colum .

but wouldn't be influened much by former premiers harris or eves much , eves pretty much did the party in when he was leader and considering the fact the province was booming back in 2003 never should of lost the election so bad . dalton mcguinty was back then an unpopular and inexperienced opposition leader , they should of been able to do better considering the advantages they had .

tory would influence me , but i'd be voting against that candidate if he were to support anyone , which i doubt he will do .

I respect that my MPP's knowledge of the Candidates is more qualified then my own, with that said my MPP's endorsement of a Candidate is only a portion of my decision on who to support.

I will make up my own mind, not agree with someone else's because I respect them.

Frankly, apart from those running, most PC MPPS are no-names.

well of the 24 member caucus some aren't that high profile , is still a few former cabinet ministers there like jerry ouellette who just endorsed frank klees from what i saw . is also the son of a former premier there , norm miller from parry sound muskoka .

but is also some lower profile mpp's like bob bailey from sarnia or say julia munro from york simcoe . who isn't near as high profile as peter van loan the mp for the same riding .

I'm pretty involved in politics and those names you mentioned I've never heard of.

Except for Miller but that's just because of his defection from red to blue.
