Well I guess you might be disappointed to hear that there is likely to be a Star Wars 7, 8, & 9 comming out in 2020. No it's not a joke, George Lucas has those scripts posted somewhere on the net. |

No more Haden Christensen. No more Star Wars. Those newest episodes destroyed the series.
Star Trek: The Next Generation is the bestest ever! |

Actually I thought the very best part of Star Trek could have been the Dominion War of Deep Space Nine if not for the fact that the Star Trek writers decided to end the war diplomatically rather then a big final battle. The prophets of DS9 was a also a bit of a disappointment.
As far as TNG, it is the best series hands down, so I'm quite disappointed that a movie prequel was made of the original crew members. Now if there is another Star Trek series I would like it to surround a borg theme, something like Species 0. Less socialist, more conservative, less diplomacy always solves the problem. |

In my opinion a true world government is a recipe for trouble. The power given to such a government would be enormous and the potential for some sort of world dictator is not too far fetched. As the saying goes "power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely." By what paramaters would such a governmental figure govern? How would everyone vote? Do they have an army? A UN like organization is a viable thing - provided there are some major overhauls with the current system, but a true government which holds power over the World? A disaster.
As far as the website goes, it looks shoddy and without teeth. |
