BS aside, can you imagine how long it took and how many CBC execs to:
collect the material
view the material
isolate bias
record it
compare complaint to material
notes on the material
draft of response
write or dictate response.

I don't think you want or need a pompous twit at the CBC to validate your opinion either! The CBC cannot be trusted to impartially present any story, period.
That's why they dropped their 'Trusted Canadian Connected' tag BS

The sad thing about that is it is true.

I wonder how many NDP and former U.S. Vietnam war deserters went through that content.

The only thing I will watch on the CBC is sports and the At Issue panel.

Geez, now you're complaining they put too much effort into the response. If the CBC would have wrote back a two paragraph generic answer you'd be bitching that they don't care. They can't win either way. The ironic part is that the whole thing is about bias.

Tuna, I have a right to show my conservative bias as a private citizen, not a national funded media arm, which is paid by through tax money. Maybe you should work out the distinctions first!

My point is that because of your CBC bias there is nothing they could have done in handling your letter that would have satisfied you. You would have complained if they ignored you, complained if they didn't answer you thoroughly enough and are complaining because they put too much effort into answering you.

What would you have liked them to do upon receiving your letter?

The thing that would have made me happy was to admit their bias in the particular news segment. They did say that they should have clearly identified the former NDP candidate, but they refuse to announce bias.
