Is it just me or is the BT Forums running very slowly? It takes about 20 secs for a page to load. Other webpages are going normally....

Yes they are. I'll do some things to try to speed it up.

I'm getting about 5 seconds for page loads, my last reply on another thread took abut 45 seconds to load.

I was wondering if it was a "denial of service" attack or something. I'm surprised we haven't had some negative "attention" from net-savvy leftards.

Liberals can't even shoot a video let alone launch a denial of service attack. In fact, I'm surprised they know how to open a browser.

I think I've solved this. Sessions were set to expire after 86,000 seconds so I think a lot of memory was being chewed up because of the increased activity (I reduced it to 1200 seconds). I also turned on compression which will increase the load on the server processor but reduce bandwidth.

It's definitely running faster today than yesterday. Thank you!

I get that about once a week, maybe slightly more often. It's usually temporary.
