It very well may be a bunch of BS. But the one world government would work under socialist parameters, so I don't know if it's totally a left theory.

I wnat debate, not bullheadedness. Watch the video of Cronkite. Do you think he's the only person who's thinking along those lines. Read the article by the president of the CFR, what does that say to you?

Debate intelligently. No need to be ignorant duck tory.

That's definetely one of the wet-dreams of socialists and one of the goals of the old USSR (which again is why these groups were rumoured to be linked to the Soviets).

I can't see this happening though within the next century or so.

I started watching your video, but then I got bored. I was just wondering what you were basing your opinions on though, and now I know. Thanks.

This was a pretty ignorant response Bleatmop. If you didn't watch it, why did you feel the need to comment?

I'm sorry for offending your delicate sensibilities Sheila. I admit that I didn't read your guidelines on when it is acceptable to post a question in this forum, but perhaps you'll give me a pass this time?

To answer your question, I would suggest you enhance your reading comprehension. As I stated above (I highlighted it for you), I was wondering where he was getting his information from. You could also reference this post as to why I initiated the dialogue with Concerned. I said:

You seem big on the whole secret agenda thing. Any particular reason?

You just seem to be really good at disputing things when you never looked at any evidence. You dismiss it outright without ever knowing and expect someone to translate in for you in two sentences. Like I said your kind of response is ignorant. Now look at those videos tell concerned what exactly is wrong with them. Don't be a sheeple bleatmop.

Where exactly did I dispute anything? I believe I've held my opinion on this matter in check. Again, please enhance your reading comprehension.

Sure why don't you post the books or articles that will prove once and for all that those two videos are false.

Because I'm not disputing them. I'm not saying they are real either. What part of that don't you understand??

Walter Cronkite telling his peers that he can speak freely, and then speaking freely. What is unreal about that?

This should be worrying for Americans too. I think the Republicans get it with Ron Paul, Tom Tancredo, and Duncan Hunter introducing legislation to stop the North American Union. Conservatives in the US should also be worried b/c if Canada joins the US they can expect 12 million or so leftists/socialists/marxists of every kind to pour over their border.

I can't see this happening though within the next century or so.

It isn't just the soviets and socialists that dream of one world government but o do others. Corporations, through free trade agreements for example have already gone some distance in eroding the individual sovereignty of nations. When corporations can successfully sue countries and receive redress for things like: You have to accept this additive in your gasoline regardless of whether it is harmful because removing it will give our competetors an unfair advantage because they didn't put it in. Or you have to accept hemp products imported into your country regardless of whether you associate it with marijuanna or not.

I think we are decades away from 1 world government. We now have the EU which while harmonizing trade across Europe and largely taking down the borders is now harmonizing civil and criminal law. They have a parliament etc.

There is an initiative to develop a similar system her in the Americas and Asia will eventually come together once India resigns itself to China's dominance.

The question is will our rights be better protected by corporations than by governments?
