Watching it on BBC World news.

I'm for capital punishment for:
- Rape and murder of children.
- REPEAT offenders for violent crimes causing death (I say "repeat" because mistaken or wrongful sentencing can't happen TWICE).

I'm kinda on the fence on this one, I have reasons to think the death penalty is a huge problem, but alternatively I agree that we need the ultimate hammer to protect our Prison guards and police officers.

Unfortunately we have seen cases where crime labs, coroners have manufactured/manipulated evidence or lied to support a case. This is a huge issue for me.

I keep thinking about that Crips or Bloods founding member who was recently executed, he had turned his life around in prison and was using his voice to speak to the street kids to try and turn them off of gangs. I can full well understand why folks wanted him dead for his despicable crimes, but part of me thought his death was a huge waste of a valuable resource.

I know I'm not usually a fence sitter, but on this one I am.
