Maybe I'll ask my business associate in the Netherlands for his opinion. But there is one thing will say positively about the Dutch they are more open to do business then most Canadians.

This is apparently true of most nations, in comparison to Canada. We're apparently incredibly frustrating to deal with as buisiness partners. Too risk averse, and slow to act.

It makes sence when most nations had conservative governments for 40 out of 60 years while Canada has had 40 out of 60 years of Liberal governments. If not for our proximity to the United States this country would be far more left then Europe.

That may not be a bad thing in the end. If Gert does manage to defeat these charges in court, then it would seem that legal precedent would be established in the Netherlands. That is, if he defeats this in court. It seems to me that if the prosecutor wouldn't take this case, then it might be because there is no legal ground to prosecute Gert, maybe?
