My God, I think Stelmach is going to match or outdo King Ralph's 2004 numbers

Currently:

PC: 61
Liberal: 11
NDP: 4
WA: 0

...........wow, he's matched what they had when they cleared the legislature.

Can someone explain this to me?

Global's showing:

PC: 71
Lib: 9
NDP: 3

Go to the Calgaryherald.com page...they have a poll asking if the NDs and Libs should form a coalition to defeat the PCs...they might come up a vote or two short!

Love it when the papers get it that wrong...they were predicting -10 to -12 for Eddie...and here he is +11

This is a PC Landslide...

Very stunning.

Like the PC Leadership race, Steady Eddie pulled it out.

I will say this I trust Ed as an honest man, and that he is a generally good man.

I hope they get back to traditional conservatism.

Wow though. stunning.

Outdid Ralph.

Concur...Wow...not quite outdoing King Ralph (74 in 2001), but still quite respectable.

Most current numbers ... 70 PC, 10 Lib, 2 NDP, and 1 Wildrose Alliance, at 2200 hrs. Wow. I would have liked to see the WAP pick up more seats than the NDP, but at least we're not seeing a Lib government.

WAP down 2% - very sad. A very liberal PC leader and a merger and they lost ground - not good at all.

Indeed. More disappointing, is the news that with all 60 polls reporting, WAP Leader Paul Hinman has lost his seat to the PCs. Of course, there may be a recount...

Too bad the WA didn't get any seats.

I suspect that this is once again proof of how the media has a hidden agenda against conservatives.

For the last month all we've heard (especially here in Ontario) is how the PCs were losing support to the Libs and how a PC minority was possible.

King Ed kicks ass, and doesn't bother to take names. Great results for the PC's.
