Time to get out of the middle east. The only thing the USA gets out of its involvement is criticism. Let the self-sanctimonious rest of the world baby sit for awhile.

How about the secular dissidents in that region? Let them die in the hands of those Islamonazis? :?:

Perhaps you missed Craig's reference to the self-sanctimonious rest of the world? Why should USA, GB & Canada be tasked with all the heavy fighting? Let the secular dissidents take refuge with the French, the Germans and all those other nations who flutter about in relative safety clucking their tongues at our efforts.

For that matter, let's see something useful from Amnesty International and all similar organizations who spend their time carping instead of helping.

And the poor starving children in Africa. I don't get up every morning and go to work so that I can solve the incompetence of the rest of the world.

The entire heavy lifting is being done by the Americans around the world and not any one else. So stop pretending that Canada is doing any thing there cuz I can't see it.

Well, you're the part of the few people who don't care about other human beings in need and would like to be selfish and I believe no one actually asked for YOUR individual contribution. There are plenty of reasonable people who are not ISOLATIONISTs and would like to help the rest of the world enjoy the same stuff YOU take for granted in the comfort of your home and country.

I guess my nephew went to Afghanistan and spent the better part of a year dodging bullets and IEDs for no reason. Amazing.

Oh, cry me a river. Quit acting so self righteous. My goodness - what an attitude.

And I don't take it for granted. I work very hard for my money.

Tell that to millions of people in Iran, Iraq, Kurdistan and Turkey who LOOK at the United States for help and support and not to Canada or other selfish socialist countries... No body even asks Canada or UK or France to do any thing becuz every one knows these countries can't do any goddamn shit there. It's only the United States with enough manpower, good intentions and money to help. So it really doesn;t matter what Canadians think or say.
