http://hs.facebook.com/group.php?gid=18883769864

Just an FYI. Me and other conservative candidates are getting a Conservative Alliance underway.

I am really inspired. I have reading that book "Rescuing Canada's Right: A Blueprint for a Conservative Revolution", and it talks about getting youth to become politically active and conservative.

I am grabbing hold of this oppurtunity with the Youth Parliament, and hopefully this will move conservatism to the younger generation!

This is just like an election campaign! So if your on facebook join the group!

I would appreciate any help I can get here.

Just joining the group can do a lot of help.

This is about advancing the conservative movement among youth.

Cool thanks.

This is becoming a great project.

We are getting organized from the start. Their is some Liberal M.P. candidates for this program, but the idea is with an organized and effective campaign from the start we can win a Conservative Alliance government among youth...

My eye is on party whip or cabinet minister...I am very involved in the party planning of this youth party.

The NDP is beating us guys....

I know a few of you are under 24, and some of you have kids over 14!

Please consider! It advances the youth conservative movement!

The young are very impressionable & manipulated by thought control, the NDP knows how to make themsevlves sound cool but reality is the opposite.

Conservatives don't need a "youth wing" or "youth alliance". I'd rather that no matter what age you are, you're an equal member of the Conservative Party.

Why put people in a sandbox while the rest of the party is left to its own affairs?

We don't have a "women's wing" or an "aboriginal wing" like the Liberals because we don't parse people like that.

Youth wings have been a function of delegated leadership conventions (which we don't have) so that each youth organization has delegates. This has usually been leveraged by certain candidates to stack the vote.

I think it would be insulting to be a "quota" delegate. Each delegate should have to compete on the same playing field. But, as we don't have delegates, this is all moot anyway.

If you want to form a club where all it is is just a place to drink beer, make friends and meet girls (or guys) then cool. But, we really shouldn't have special status for certain members of our party.

I think you've misunderstood Stephen:

http://www.youthparliament.ca/

This program is re-establishing a Youth Parliament of Canada.

The Conservative Alliance of Canada is a youth party running for the Youth Parliament of Canada.

This really actually has nothing to do with the CPC, and more with conservatism and youth in general.

I am just wondering if anyone here who is between 14 and 24 or who has family who is between that age who could sign up to run as a Member of Youth Parliament under the Conservative Alliance banner.

Okay if any of you are able or have a friend or family or contact that can!

We need ONE MORE CANDIDATE, to be the first official party.

The Liberals are putting a damn good fight!

If you want to expand your appeal you should consider dropping "Alliance" from the name and just going with "Conservative Party."

Do you have to be a student? And I agree with steve about dropping the "Alliance" part of the name.
