I think it was back when I had decided to stop frequenting a place called Politics Canada. I was looking for a new online home, and you had just started up the forum part.

I have visited the main BT site fairly regularly since the last election and noticed the link but hadn't checked it out until this summer.

OT: I was looking for Stephens news archives but can't seem to find the link anymore. Is it still available?

I used to be a member of the CKA forums ( http://www.canadaka.net/forums/ ) and the admin their was comparing his forum to other Canadian forums and how many posts they had.

Blogging Tories made the list, so I googled the name, and came here.

That's exactly how I got here as well. How's it going West? FYI the webmaster of CKA doesn't think much of this sites claim to be the fastest growing political forum.

LOL - Obviously we are a smaller group here but I think in percentage growth terms we probably are close to being the fastest growing.

I suspect his numbers are a little off. He shows another forum with only 90 members as having a higher growth rate than this one with over 600 members. I'm no statistician but I don't know how that works out. :)

Hey RUEZ!

Glad to see you again!

Uh, I tried to get back on CKA, was in talks with the admin, wake up one day - bam -banned again...weird...

anyways glad to see you here! The forum is pretty partisan (as you would expect with the name, lol), but is not a slow forum, their is lots of activity every day.

I also really enjoy going to the main sites and reading the blogs affiliated with the site on their blog roll.

I believe I first came by late 2004 but visited maybe once or twice. I was taking it upon myself to study the philosophies of different political ideologies. I had always knew I was a conservative at the basic level but I wanted to know more about the philosophies of each ideology and why they thought the way they did. The three main ones I studied were conservatism, liberalism, and socialism. From various articles on blogs I read I clicked the BT button once or twice.

Later, I was googling what was being released from the Gomery commish in 2005 during the media blackout on it, and found Captain's Quarter's. I passed links from that site around to many fellow canucks who wanted to know the dirt. In the summer of 2005 I started a blog on my msn space or whatever its called, and wrote 6 articles until February 06, when I started at blogspot and joined BT. Then in fall 06 I moved my blog to my own server.

I started frequenting BT just before Nov 2005 when the first Gomery report was about to come out. Since then I've had three periods of apathy where I couldn't really care less what happens. You may have noticed i'm in the midst of one now.

New member here, from Saskatchewan. Found this community a few days ago after doing some reading at SDA and googling to see if any other right-minded, Canadian blogs or forums existed. Happy to have found the place; looks great so far!
