From the Aug 6/07 Hill Times:

    The Bloc Québécois, led by Gilles Duceppe (Laurier-Saint-Marie, Que.) raised $34,227 from 476 donors in the first quarter and $27,928 from 364 donors in the second quarter.
$62,000 in 6 months! Can anybody fight this giant machine?

OMG...how do we win against that!

Ah, I take a little glee in the fact the Conservatives have the most donations from the most donaters.

Just shows the Liberals operated under Corporate donations.

The Bloc is not doing very well for a 7.5 million region...

They get million's from the Fed government because of the new funding provision's Chretein set up. It's a strange country that will reward people who are trying to destroy it.

Considering the Bloc's influence in Parliament in the past two governments... they seem able to do more with less. Of course, they had a pretty strong influence over the mandate in Parliament, even before the Feds started subsidizing the parties....
