Where do you find these beers? Are these all brewed in Biggar?

I'm actually just drinking one right now. James Ready is 5.5% buck a beer brewed in Niagara Falls and Saint John. Tastes similar to Canadian in my opinion. I don't think that they have it West of Ontario yet though. I was in a liquor store in Alberta two weeks ago and couldn't find it. It is a lager.

My Dad and Uncle used to drink Labatt's 50. At my Uncle's funeral(wake) my cousin and I had a couple 50's in his honour. I almost got sick. Awful beer!

Lol I remember that stuff, I think it was the official Beer of Quebec.
They loved it on the Quebec side.

50 is good stuff!

How many of those beers are actually Canadian-owned now? Not many I believe.

I tend to buy Laker when I go to the store. What can I say, I like the blue maple leaf logo, and if I'm not mistaken its brewed by The Brick.

Speaking of maple leafs on logos, I stopped drinking blue when I saw that Labatt doesn't put the little red maple leaf on their bottles in Quebec. They replace it with a red feather.

Can you guys taste the difference between an ale like Alexander Keiths and a lager like Canadian. My experience with 50 has turned me off all ales except IPA's. Is Keith's an IPA.

I think I could. But I've always wanted to try a blind taste test - but that would mean I would have to buy a case of Canadian.
