Can you guys taste the difference between an ale like Alexander Keiths and a lager like Canadian. My experience with 50 has turned me off all ales except IPA's. Is Keith's an IPA.

I think I could. But I've always wanted to try a blind taste test - but that would mean I would have to buy a case of Canadian.

HAHA thats hilarious, i cant stand it either.
If I have to buy a main brand beer I will buy kokanee.

The only major Canadian brewery I'm aware that is still in Canadian hands is Moosehead (OK, semi major) They sell it world-wide , so I guess it qualifies.

Usually I buy some Great West Brewery product. They took over the old Labatt brewery in town Saskatoon here, and turn out satisfactory industrial brew.

Well I never heard of these beers before I will have to look for them next time.
Maybe if Sask joined the AB and BC trade alliance we would see them.
