When Fidel Castro dies, what do you think will happen in Cuba?

Will there be a vacuum of power (or will his brother Raul take over without missing a beat)?

Will the US lobby harder to bring Cuba around into their sphere, or will Chavez turn up the pressure as well?

And would Canada have anything to do with mediating a transformation into capitalism for the island nation?

I doubt much happen after his departure. People of Cuba should rise up and show the signs of unrest if they want the free world help them go through a transitional period.

He is dead already. He has not made a public appearance in what 4 months? How long was Mao dead for before the Chinese admitted it?

PS. He did not appear at the May Day parade this year either.

I may just be in Havana lazily drawing on a hand rolled cigar by this time next year. It will be great to see another red nightmare bite the dust. Of course there's still Hillary Clinton...

Dominican cigars are better. They taste like freedom.

Communism is now so well bread into the Cuban people i dont know if they will want to change.
They have a square in Havanna dedicated to protest the US once per week and thousands of people show up to do so.
As well Venezuala ( ) will definately commenting on this when the time comes.

Here is to hoping!
