I've been on facebook for quite a while now. Didn't know that Blogging Tories had a group on it though.

I'm on it, and on the BT group, too.
But I'm still too shy to reveal my alter ego :) There's something to be said about the freedom (relative) of blogging under a pseudonym.

This is true.

I took the plunge into revealing my true identity a couple months ago when I started taking my blog a little more seriously.

Of course, there are risks with throwing your name out there, but those are risks I'm willing to accept.

Can't blame anyone for not though.. I certainly choose my words much more carefully these days

Lol, it struck home a couple weeks back when my mother told me she was impressed that when she googled my name there were so many results haha. I suppose it could cause a problem with certain employment opportunities - but I'm not willing to work for anyone who won't hire me because of my political views. My professional abilities speak for themselves. (Plus, isn't a conservative the exact type of person you want working for your company? lol). Not that I'm actively seeking a change... I just took on a new job, and i'm already the buzz of the office 8)

We can truly take over the world now!

(anyone who wants to add me to their friends, I don't care, just as long as you are true blue conservatives, then you are a friend of mine! :D )

Dang, there are a lot of attractive females in the BT facebook!

And is it just me or are there more members of facebook than there are actual blogging tories?

Remember, it includes fans and readers of Blogging Tories as well... not just its member bloggers.

I'm on Facebook as well, and in the BT group.

I'm also friends with Stephen Harper, Elizabeth May, Stephane Dion, and Mark Holland (I like to keep an eye on what the other side is up to...same reason I subscribe to the email lists of all parties).

Jack Layton thinks he's too good to accept my friend requests though; so does Paul Wells.

I have a cell phone and MSN and this is to much for me.
Not to mention the time I spend online :(

How ironic. I was just on facebook before I logged in here. It's been too long. Jeremy Good is where you'll find me, and I'll just have to join the group!
