lol, anyone see this

I must say, I am getting a little sick of these, but the first commercial was absolutely hilarious.

"I'll have the roast duck with mango salsa"...

Wow, when I first arrived at that site I thought I was having flashbacks or something - that mirror or whatever it is looks suspiciously like a stargate! :P

Seriously though I love those interactive flash things.

That's too much...
way too much, they're taking this too far.

Ha, that reminds me - you know the original milk rap commercial? To this day, I swear they made more of those simply because I requested a copy. It took me almost 5 hours of phone calls to get, but I have both the 30 second TV edition, and the uncut 60 second version of the ads on VHS. LoL.

Speaking of ads - does anyone know what that beer ad was where the guy went to the fridge to grab a beer, and the woman went to grab it at the same time. Then he looked at her, at the beer, at her, at the beer, then at her and saw the people carrying in more and gave it to her? I think that was heineken, but i'm not sure, and I need to hunt down a copy of it hahaha

I'm pretty sure it was Heineken. Speaking of which, I just tried it for the first time the other night, and its not too bad of a beer. I may try it again some year.

Heineken is my "everyday" beer. lol, Its the beer I come home to hahaha. I usually keep a couple in the fridge for after a hard day of work. You can pick up the tallboy cans for $2.45 each(2.55 now that there's the deposit I think).

Otherwise I like to pick up Hoegaarden, or a variety of wheat beers, Guinness now and then, and Stella or Upper Canada if I want a premium beer. Of course, I switch it up every once in a while; one of my favourites that's really hard to get is Asahi, from Japan.

Hmmm... interesting. I'll give a few of those a try. I'm not normally a beer man (I stick to Rum), but I do enjoy having a beer while watching HNIC. I also marinate steak with beer quite often. Have you tried that, and if so, what ones are best for steak in your opinion?

I marinate mine with Budweiser - but make sure you use the Canadian stuff. American Bud has a very different taste (in the steak or from a can) that I don't enjoy.

I use Bud when marinating as well actually(and mix in BBQ sauce)... and yes, the Canadian stuff. McGuire makes a very real point - americans don't know beer(one of the main reasons I oppose integration with the US lol).
Beer is also good with ribs. If you boil ribs before baking/ BBQing them, substitute lemon with beer, then mix BBQ sauce with beer and cover them with the mixture.

There used to be a show on Men TV called the beer buddies i think... it was a group of men who were chefs and every episode they would show you various recipes with beer as an ingredient. I haven't watched that in ages... come to think about it, im not even sure that channel is still around.
