Up to a dozen Liberal MPs have decided not to seek re-election in the next federal election.
The rash of retirements raises memories of the waning years of former prime minister Brian Mulroney's government, when his popularity plummeted and a string of sitting MPs decided to jump instead of sinking with their ship.
Those calling it quits...
Joe Comuzzi (possible)
Now if this were happening to the Conservatives you could bet CTV and CBC would be questioning the leadership of Mr. Harper. So why aren't they questioning Dion's??? Especially since several of these people have stated that Dion is part of the reason they are leaving.

THe differerence between the current Liberals and the old Conservative government is that the Liberals aren't even in power. Its pretty pathetic that the Liberals are so pesimistic about Dion they feel the need to jump ship just months after he was elected leader.
