We need more polarizing in the political arena, not less. Centrists are what kills objective progress. I would like to see a 3rd party come into play. I believe that the Constitution Party will make massive gains this election as they did in the last, and we will be discussing their Presidential candidate as a front runner in 2012.

After much thought over this the past couple of months, I hope that Fred Thompson puts his name in the race. He is what U.S. conservatives need. He knows his stuff, and is not afraid to respond to the left, and show their hypocrisies. Lets face if, the conservative movement is in serious damage, and needs to be fixed. Rudy is not the guy, he is just another liberal hiding in the GOP banner, and my original choice McCain has, well lost it. Plus, Thompson is running in third in most polls, and has yet to even throw his name into the race. I think he is the smart choice for the Republicans.

At times like this I wish there was a Tom Mcclintock option.
