I've been highly critical of Bourque Newswatch for changing allegiances frequently. But it has become clear that he does so for financial reasons. Personally, I could never do that myself. I'm conservative to the bone. But it is really quite smart to turn your media influence into a product. He is making a pretty decent amount of money on this. All media outlets are biased. Many indirectly make money off this bias by securing a partisan base for advertisers. Bourque goes one step further and directly makes money off his shifting bias. Very clever.

The boys at Canadian Press aren't nearly so forgiving, Craig.

I agree- it's a pretty sweet racket. Basically, he's getting cash for advertising someone else's product and there isn't a thing they can do about it. It does explain his "fluid" loyalties, doesn't it?
