I don't think there is. It might just take a little while for the blog to appear there. But no trial period that I know of.

yeah, usually we go a couple of months just to make sure that your blog can make a worthy contribution to the Blogging Tories website itself. If you talk about Paris Hilton's dog more than politics, you're probably not going to make a worthwhile contribution to BT which is a politics site.

Further, if you're a actually an NDPer posing as a Tory, hopefully you won't be able to maintain the act for longer than a couple of months.

Also, if you're nuts, we can usually tell within two months.

The aggregator also uses up a lot of CPU resources and is run many times per day. Each additional blog that is aggregated takes up these resources. So, while we like to aggregate a lot of blogs, if your blog only updates once every month, or generally doesn't add much of anything original to any conversation or debate, we think twice about adding your blog.

Most blogs are acceptable for the aggregator. The most common reason for non inclusion is that I'm often too distracted to take the three minutes it takes to edit our code.

That, and the issue about compatible blogfeeds, right?

Yes. Your blog is just fine... it's the feed. Will look at it again this weekend.
