If the demographics continue on the same path, Israel will become an Islamic state before 2050... nukes won't be needed at all.

I say 2 years left. Iran could not make it any clearer that asap they will do the dirty deed. They also , from all the recent tests and technological capabilities they have made public are prepareing for an Israel or US assault. They have also made it clear if the US sticks it's nose in they will be a target.

Remember also that Iran , China and Russia are pretty buiddy buddy with plenty of oil and gas deals signed and they both (russia , China) have a veto power at the UN.

Another factor is the US has shown that protecting oil intrests is paramount and over riding the UN is permissible with that excuse.

The reason I say 2 years is the other fact: Iran invented the game of chess and while we may think they are 8 years away or 4 years away...there probably already there or a few years away.

The reason and excuse they will use is that Israel has nukes , refuses inspection and is virtually a rouge nation imposing a double standard on the area. Which is a fact. They may be already using that excuse.

From the bibical prophesy perspective. Like the lady in the purple robe riding the seven headed beast that eventually turns on her and devours her .... So Israel , may scream for help , the seven nations that are under her control may turn away. I laways wondered why world leaders referred to Israel as "her". Perhaps that's the reason.

Either way if I was an Israeli in Israel I would get my butt out of there real quick.

Israel is like Apple computer. Since 1984, people have been predicting the demise of Apple. since 1948, people have been predicting the fall of the Israeli state. Ine both cases, it has yet to happen.

You would think that after several decades, people would get tired of being wrong.

If Israel goes down, the Arabs on going with it. I don't think it'll ever get to that point b/c the Arabs IMO know this.

Duck tory, we are working hard in the U.S. to avoid this. right now things do look bleak for Israel. The U.S.(the Bush Admin.) seems to be pushing Israel to acquiesce. We need more friends of israel in our gov'.t

I think, or hope, that the USA knows exactly where Iran is with their program and will destroy it when necessary.

If a Democrat, save for Hillary who for all her faults can be trusted to stick up for Israel, wins in 2008, then Israel should be worried
