[quote="cbasu"] Ballot 4: Dion, Rae. Impressed!

Iggy's to right wing for the Libs. I fear Kennedy.

With Dion and Kennedy having worked out a deal, who ever finishes ahead pn the second ballot gets the support of the other. Kennedy is ahead of Dion now and from all I've heard Dion looks shaky and lost some people to Iggy.

10:47 P.M Just read that Kennedy has come out against Quebecois as a nation. No one in Quebec will support him now.

Kennedy is the only one who is not standing up for Quebec nationhood. He has set himself up as the only federalist candidate in this race. His chances just got a big boost, I am thinking.

I have a gut feeling it will be Stephane Dion.

Michael Ignatieff will no doubt win the first ballot, but then all bets are off.
I just don't see the Liberal party as being stupid as a whole. Michael Ignatieff has shown that he cannot debate with the big boys and a seasoned vet like Gilles Duceppe will feed him his lunch.

As much as I would love it, I don't see Liberals being so arrogant that they would alienate their power base in Ontario but making Voters in Ontario Chose between Stephen Harper and Bob Rae. The Liberals want it to be easy on Ontario because simply said if they put in a smiling face that has not screwed up the provice their support will be strong, but Bob Rae gives Ontario a reason NOT to vote Liberal.

The Liberals need to make gains in Ontario and Quebec, the only guy on the board that does that is Stephane Dion.

The Liberals need to have a human that is not Bob Rae to maintain Ontario, and a someone who can debate in French with an accent in Quebec.

He just makes the most sense, and I think the vote will reflect that.

I think this may rival Doug Fluties Hail Mary Pass.
