Who are your favourite press personalities/writers?

Who do you believe carries water for the Liberals/Conservative/NDP?

Who is the most objective?

One of my favorites is Mike Duffy. He seems like he tries to be fair and balanced for the most part, although he doesn't always successfully pull it off. I like him because he tries to stick with reality and not worry about the spin (although he does seem keen to let the spinners weave their webs and laugh about it when they start fighting).

My other favorite is Rutherford. Don't always agree with everything he says, but he always does make interesting points. I've enjoyed listening to him for what seems forever now.

My favourite members of the press are Warren Kinsella (National Post/Blog), David Akin (CTV) and Bob Fife (CTV).

Kinsella has a great skill at antagonizing his target of the day. He is great at it, and continues to be.

Fife and Akin, try to be unbiased, unfortunately they don't always succeed at it.

I like Rex Murphy, even though he tends to ramble a bit. He makes his points, and he has some wit. Steyn does it better. All the writers at the WS. Lots of people like Kate of SDA, Damian Penny, Janke, and Stephen Taylor. Lots of Liberal bloggers too, but only the more reasoned ones.

that Larry Zolf guy, I don't know why anyone pays him to write.
