Stephen Harper says that "virtually all" leadership candidates are "anti-Israeli"
After the initial outrage to the insult, will the Liberals have to answer the question raised?
Is Ignatieff's planned (now postponed) trip to Israel obvious damage contol and will it be seen cynically by Canadians?
Are Canadians becoming more anti-Israeli and the Liberals trying to capture this sentiment as they measure their policies against the polls? Or are Canadians the same and the Conservatives now represent the sane position on Israel?
Many Jewish voters are leaving the Liberal party. What will this mean to the Canadian political dynamic?

The Libs have never heard of a saying " your actions speak so loudly I cant hear what you are saying"
Playing politics with war and war like actions is inexcusable.
Of course Harper is right in is statements.
Canada should support democracies vs terrorists.
The media barely even mentioned the fact Isreal warned the Lebanese there would be action taken by dropping of flyers.
I wish Harper had of stood up and said " if Lebanon doesnt start rididng themselves of Terrorists, we will have to impose economic sanctions".
I understand why he didnt there are huge Lebanese communities within Canada especially in the Montreal suburbs.
Igantieuf's comments are truely liberal comments that is, appease the people you are currently talking too and lie later to deny it.
Picked up on a story over at honest reporting. Apparently, before the recent war, Hezbollah was busy renovating Lebanese domociles close to the border. These renovations consisted of building a room with no doors and windows, then sealing it up with something inside it under cover of darkness.
Anyone remember how Hezbollah was being congratulated a few weeks ago for their efforts to rebuild the country?
When war erupted in southern Lebanon, designated leaders of Hezbollah combat teams received envelopes, each containing an address of one of the modified homes. The team quickly deployed to its assigned location, immediately breaking through an exterior wall of the sealed room. Each envelope contained aiming and firing instructions for the object prepositioned inside the room before it was sealed -- a surface-to-surface missile atop a launcher. After removing part of the room's roof to allow for unobstructed flight and on command, the team was to fire the missile, raining death and destruction down upon Israel's civilian population.
