Some word has leaked out about the staff that Special Investigator Meuller is assembling to press his investigation.
First of all, it is being claimed that Meuller was Comey's mentor who shared a 15+ year personal friendship as well as a professional relationship. He is also the investigator that couldn't find a crime in the IRS scandal, with its destroyed computers, etc. There's lots of reasons to think he's in the tank for the Clintons.
He has hired 6 investigators, three of them hard-rock Clinton Democrats. First, is Andrew Weissmann, who headed up the Justice Department's criminal fraud division, and was the prosecutor in the Enron case. He has a record of hiding evidence from the defense. His Enron case was overthrown in the Supreme Court 8-0. He was also a contributor to the Clinton campaign. His work on the Enron case was notorious, and he is the subject of a book, License to Lie.
The second is Jeannie Rhee, who worked under Eric Holder and later represented Hillary in her email lawsuit. She gave the maximum allowable donation to Hillary in 2015 and 2016, and represented the Clinton Foundation in the racketeering lawsuit they faced.
The third is Aaron Zebley was the attorney for Justin Cooper, who was Clinton's aide, and who had access to her private server as well as helped set it up. He was a personal aide for Bill Clinton and worked for the Clinton Foundation.
This is not a unbiased investigation -- it's a hit squad.
