History of Omission…
Those who win usually write the history books. Sometimes it is the appropriate party and they state how it truly was. To a point. However, there are other factions that exclude many facts, and try to influence the majority or become the majority and write things that fit their beliefs.
Academia, in universities and public schools, will have it their way. Hence, I tend to read commercial books, hopefully published by open publishers and preferably conservative, maybe of the centre. The Internet, of course, is a delightful source but requires verification.
Often it takes a lot of research to find out the details.
Government records are sealed for many years and kept in the archives. Therefore, conspiracies flare up.
What comes to your mind? Not a conspiracy, but something that has been omitted and should be made aware.
