Keith Olbermann has just ended his Friday night episode of Countdown–and apparently ended his run as host of the show on MSNBC. The host thanked his Countdown staff and team at MSNBC, read a poem and bid viewers farewell, tossing his papers toward the camera for the “final time,” and saying “Good night, and good luck.”

Olbermann, who’s been at MSNBC for eight years, expressed his “boundless gratitude” to Countdown viewers, saying they would always be in his heart, thanking them for every letter, handshake, and email.

Crazy, COMCAST is not f'n around(COMCAST is still waiting on approval for their NBCU Takeover).

Methinks this guy is smiling tonight..

Obvious good news; hopefuly they will hire someone sane and join the real world now. Didn't take long for the merger of Comcast and NBC Universal to start making a difference. Hopefully they will not stop here but will get rid of the other extreme left-wing lunatics.

I think this is a move in the right direction. A bit more housekeeping on the looney fringes would be in order. Beck would definately be on the delete list. The last generation got the likes of William F. Buckley and he is what this generation of conservatives get?
