why does canada want to become vietnam, the u.s. defeated itself in vietnam ie: the democrats pulling out and north vietnam had huge soviet aid.nobody will ever invaid canada, there could be terrorist attacks but no invasion especially with the strong allies we have.

It was the Republicans under Nixon that pulled out of Viet Nam. The American weak spot is they have a low threshold of pain.
The problem with allies is they will turn on you in a second if it is in their interest. The US has attacked us three times and we have repelled them. After the Great War, they contemplated invading Canada again. (Plan 1919) That was the origin of Defence Scheme Number One which was our primary war plan from 1921 to 1931. The basic premise of the plan was a pre-emptive strike.
A 21st century operational plan using this strategy requires the addition of tactical and strategic nuclear weapons to the Canadian arsenal.
Russia is a different problem, but an over the pole invasion would be problematic for them.

When you are out-numbered, a pre-emptive strike is your best option. It worked for Isreal in 1967.

Back to the original post, I notice Craig makes no mention of restoring the role of the Crown in this country. The primary purpose of the Conservative Party is loyalty to the Monarch. That was why the party was formed.

That's not exactly what the founding principles say:

Doesn't even get around to mentioning the monarchy until point # 8.

A belief in the federal system of government as the best expression of the diversity of our country, and in the desirability of strong provincial and territorial governments;

Sounds like what we have now to me.

The Conservative Party was formed three and a half centuries ago to support the Crown in the years following the Restoration.

That's a different party. They don't exist anymore.

David Cameron is in for a big surprise if that's the case.
I agree we no longer have a Conservative Party in Canada. The party that claims that title is actually an off shoot of Socialist Credit.(Manning and his ilk)

Now you're just making no sense whatsoever.
