it's pointless watching this early and the season is way too long the stanley cup should end in may. Also since the jets left when i was a kid my passion for hockey has slowly eroded year by year because of how stupid it is that there are more sunbelt teams than canadian teams. I hope my habs do well but they are too small and they need a checking line.

Boy it's getting hard to watch the Canadian teams as of late. Montreal is barely holding on & Calgary has fallen to 9th. Folks this could be the year we only have two Canadian teams make the playoffs which will likely lead to the continuing Stanley Cup slump. Toronto & Edmonton are going no where but towards the race for last. Hopefully Team Canada can restore the pride north of the border by winning gold.
Somes of the trades have been interesting. I've been wanting the Flames to dump Phaneuf for over a year, and won't miss Yokanen. Stajan and Hagman are good pick ups; to be honest, I don't really see the benefit to the Leafs on that trade. Not that I care
