How about this -

Put a pork chop between two hounds, and see what happens...

Now put 10 Mil. between two humans...

I highly doubt the outcome will be much different.

There is a nice story in this connection of a sack of grain lost on the road - a bird comes and eats a few grains and flies away and another comes and does the same - and still yet a few more - a mouse comes and gets a few grains and goes on his way - then a human comes upon the sack of grain - picks the whole thing up and goes away - then after some time a bird comes back to that spot for a few grains and it's all gone - the moral of story - humans don't share well....

Don: I've heard similar sentiments about humans. These are false comparisons. Human ability to take it all combined with human desire to save for the future makes for a fair difference.

There seems to be a lot of this "human are not nice creatures" thinking going around. I've seen our species described as virus, plague and worse. This is not a good development, not good at all.

The older "human own everything and are masters of all" had its problems, so does the current "humans are scum" thinking. Neither is true nor fair ...
