Do you really think PM Harper doesn't know what the game is? He has the correct position for the time being. We can only match what the US does. If you've been paying attention to the US political situation you will realize the US will pass Cap and Trade about as quickly as it passed Kyoto. It didn't!

There are midterm elections in 2010 that observers say will not go will for the Dems. As Climategate unfolds, the politicians in the US are getting very nervous. And Climategate is spreading fast even without most of the MSM. Friday evening Google showed 5.4 million hits for the word "Climategate". Tonight I get 10.6 million. Double in 24 hours. The news is spreading.

So for the next year at least, Canada won't be doing much and with any luck, the whole thing will be dead in a year or so and "the people" have to make it die.

I sure hope he does because he is making me very nervous. If the Cons keep up with this they will be toast. I don't think he knew Climategate would happen so he did plan to so this.

I am getting a bit tired of people spouting hacknayed phrases such 'the science is settled'. Does the PM not have underlings who keep up with the most recent news? I will wait to see what he comes up with. At the moment it seems like we are liiving in a Bazaaro Universe in which the opposite of what we know to be true is constantly spouted. Kind of like kistening to Radio Moscow during the 1980's when they claimed that the war was over in Afghanistan and that only a few bandits remained to be rounded up and that everywhere the Forces of Peace and Progress were being welcomed by the Afghan people. And then the freedom fighters kicked the Red Army out of their country.

I just listened to Jim Prentice on the news talking about the upcoming cap and trade and how Canada will do whatever the US does.
It is time to move to a warm banana republic.

I keep receiving mail from the CPC, soliciting new contributions. It all goes immediately and directly into the bin. I will give zero support to the CPC till they stop following the AGW crowd like sheep. Prentice in particular disappoints me deeply.

New 'scientific' poll is out on Copenhagen: 72% of Canadians are against signing . That is a huge swing, and in terms of public opinion research, truly massive opposition. National Post.

Funny that Copenhagen isn't one of the top ten...

More people are coming out and talking common sense. If only we could send money somewhere to help. Check this one out: Oilpatch CEO buys an ad calling climate change a 'scam'. (Although the scam is not the climate is changing, so the headline is misleading, oh surprise, coming from the media...)

I think that it is ironic that the author of the Internet video writes this about his Internet you tube site.

YES! Finally a source on the Internet for all the correct answers ! ... and from a rock specialist.

I was being sarcastic.

It is amusing how the Global Warming Chicken Littles, such as this rock expert on you-tube, are running around trying to cover up the leaked emails that clearly expose Global Warming models as fraudulent.
