Poor leaders, too often, believe in the publicity about themselves, especially after a short period in power. Negative news and opinions are checks & balances, if they are reasonably pragmatic, rather than arrogrant. Wise self-confidence is required to make crucial timely-decisions, such as war, deployment of troops, collateral damage; then there are the economic ones, where capitalist energy is allowed to heal itself.
Of course, some regulations are necesary, to a point, without the government's lasting intervention and interference of the heirarchical advancements and the "heirarchy of needs", Abraham Maslow's "self-actualization" and Aristotle's "entelechy" -- the full realization of potentiality. In essence, the entrepreneurial and capitalistic spirit.
So, "How is one to find one's potential? How does one recognize it when one meets it? How does one know when one has lost one's way?" Psychiatrist Irvin D. Yalom once asked. "Through Guilt! Through Anxiety! Through the call of conscience!"
A message to all Americans who voted for Obama, and the Democrats who fit the opening sentence about Poor Leaders. |

So... what do you think about Obama's heirarchy of needs? Man, did he ever self-actualize.
And perhaps he doesn't give a shit about where he takes Americans as long as he goes down in history for retooling the CONSTITUTION.
Exposure and publicity works, regardless.
Artistotle would not have been proud of this false Commander-In-Chief who will wait for the Afghanistan election before considering deploying more troops.
Shame on hm and his entelechy |
