I missed this one when it was posted at "Watts Up With That?".
"The Copenhagen Climate Change Treaty Draft – wealth transfer defined, now with new and improved “dignity” penalty"
Check out page 18, section 38:
"The scheme for the new institutional arrangement under the Convention will be based on three
basic pillars: government; facilitative mechanism; and financial mechanism, and the basic organization
of which will include the following:....."
Also page 122, section 17 on compensation.
Bold text is mine.
Time to start writing some letters to Ottawa in opposition to this. I'm not into One World Government.

| Agreed. This needs to get out there for everybody to see. Especiallly the section on the world-government. Opposition to this sort of totalitarianism is part of the reason I vote for the CPC. If the Conservatives want to be the party that stands up for Canadian sovereignty, this would be a good issue to start with, along with their plan for the arctic. |

As the price of carbon goes up, expect to see more and more nuclear reactors. Just read a letter from the the CTF. As the only non-carbon based massive scale generation technology, nuclear will explode as carbon taxes are introduced.
There are only so many rivers you can dam. When you absolutely, positively must have 1 terawatt of electricity, huge freaking nuclear reactors in your back yard are the result. I just hope that there is some justice, and the people most supportive of carbon taxes and such have to live the closest. |

Nuclear power is the only way to go. It gives you energy independence, reduces carbon emissions, and pisses off Greenpeace.
It's a win-win! |

Exactly! Plus it produces copious quantities of hot water which can be used for a variety of purposes.
