President Obama truly thinks he's a star, because Oprah and a few others said so, and likely trained him how to read a telemprompter, and present himself like he knows what's what, even when he is way off base or blatantly wrong. Frankly, on his own, without a prepared speech, America and the world are learning that he is of the ACORN code, and of the elite in Harvard and Chicago... and somewhat bias.

There is no such thing as reverse racism; there is only racism. According to someone with whom I've debated this point (who happens to be black), racism is only "real" when the racist has the power and influence to convert the racism into action, whether subtly or overtly. Now... who is more powerful than the POTUS? Yup, He's a racist.

Mac, perhaps you are correct. However, I have heard that term "reverse racism" by black intellectuals.

Nevertheless...

What a person says and does is indicitive where one stands. What one writes for politcal aspirations or a UN function is usually cautious and somewhat conservative. In the liberal case, open to all, and everythiing, but the elite will lead...

I have several black friends, who have gone through some serious questions by police, however, who is reponsible for the major proportional crime rate in North America, and are in prisons? Subsquently, some police might be overly concerned... and some perhaps are gruff... but very few.

The mayor of Massachussets and the governor I think are black... so the black population is better served to do what most of do when stopped and questioned by officers. Act reasonable.

Gates Junior over-reacted. Obama over-reacted without full information. And this could incite... or at least be a reason to, once more, point a finger at the caucasion population, and make the left, academia, etc, feel even more guilty.

On top of giving you a free house, how about we help you get elected and part of the stimulus a reparation package.

Obama accepted his Muslim Kenyan name, he attended Jeremy Wright's church... need I say much more where the Marxist-Socliast Harvard educated, ACORN influenced man stands, and who comes first in his agenda?

If only Obama had gone to Devry instead of Harvard, then he'd be much more acceptable.

Can't say much, outside of the fact you have no idea what Marxism or Socialism is as compared to Keynsian economics. Which I suppose is an example of how bastardized our education currently is. I've noticed that Marxism has become used to describe just about any position, even it Marx didn't advocate a certain position. Marxism is the new Nazism, if you can't find a decent argument against a politicians policies, just call him/her a Marxist.

Nor do I really like this idea that any politician with a foreign sounding name needs to change it, perhaps you should petition Rahim Jaffer to change his name lest it offend you.

That being said, while one can have concerns about Obama's Church at the very least he backtracked on it. The same cannot be said of the Republicans whom are still enthralled with Tim LaHaye a extremist homophobic nutter on the religious right.

If the poster has some degree of courage he should also encourage us to stop listening to Thomas Sowell, after all he got educated at Harvard as well. When people wonder why conservatives are considered "anti-intellectual" this is the kind of rhetoric that explains it.

I'm not one for this class resentment bullshit or this idea that if a person takes the time to learn as much as they can and become a critical thinker they are somehow disqualified from becoming a future politician.

I'm not in for class resentment either... but there are a significant number of highly educated people who are not critical thinkers.

In the case in point, both Obama and the professor have higher education but they both automatically made unfounded racist assumptions against the police officer. Is that the act of a critical thinker? Obama went so far as to admit he didn't have all the facts but still described the righteous acts of the police officer as being stupid... and has yet to apologize... Gates has neither admitted his actions were inappropriate nor apologized.

It's not class resentment to say these two highly educated men don't deserve any respect. It's the fact of the matter.

I'm not stating that all Professors are Gods to be worshipped. But whenever I hear people make absurd statements and smirk at the idea of a person being educated at Harvard or Yale I can't help but wonder what the issue is. If someone was qualified and got well educated why the hell is that something to be considered disgraceful in society, as it was made out to be in the previous post.

Yes, and he stated he mispoke on the matter. You know what else, the talk Obama was giving was about healthcare, not the Gates matter which was a question asked by a reporter.

Maybe, as has been stated before if people would pay more attention to actual issues instead of bullshit we'd be much better off. We'd also be much better off if conservatives spent less time trying to piss off anyone with a higher education if they want to get elected. Sure it feels great to smirk because a person got an education in biology, but why the hell can't said person also be sympathetic to free market economic policies, is it really a brilliant move to tell them to f*ck off.

If conservatives hate being stereotyped as anti-intellectual rednecks who revel in mediocrity they should stop smirking if someone has gone to university.

Obama is not a racist. Those terms should only be put towards people who are racists. The more concerning thing about this is Obama does not know when to keep his mouth shut. He should not be making comments on things like this, especially when he does not know the whole story.

Obama has inclinations, hidden agendas, influences, does what he has to... and he spent 20 years at Jeremy Wright's Church, who basically hates the white man and Jews.

Professor Gates laughed when Malcolm X said the white man is the devil.

It's not just Barack's mouth that is a serious problem.

Furthermore, why did he seal his university essays etc. perhaps he wrote something that the professors of the left promoted and he liked.

Obama and his crew are trying to get even, not just with the Constitution.

Everythiing he has done or trying to do leads to what? An entrepreneurial spirit? Free- Enterprise, even Fair-Enterprise? The ACORN, Bill Ayers influenced radical is playing the people, and the maistream media are right with him. But who is playing him or along with him of the elite? I think he is a sociailist Democrat, who changed his name from Barry to Barack to indicate that he is African-American rather than half-white and he will do everything in his anointed power to get things the way he was educated by people like Professor Gates, who, it seems likes to play the Race-Card, incite the black people of America.

Prove me wrong.

Gee, change Obama to Harper and that sounds right out of the Liberal war room.

I might giggle at that remark myself.

Didn't Bush do the same ? Didn't Bush refuse to talk about drug use as well. If Obama did that, we would be hearing stories from you how he spend his 20's as a crack addict living out of a box.

Go reread Liberatas' post about BS. The only people who care about his first name, his middle name, or the fact that he met Bill Ayers are the brain dead morons who are cleaning their guns at the back of a Sarah Palin rally.

Obama is nothing more than a run of the mill left of centre politician. Trying to paint him as a Muslin, Arab, Terrorist, Citizen of Kenya, Communist, black radical only make you look like an idiot.

People want to know what our plan is for the economy, the debt, unemployment. Obama lays out a flawed plan, we respond with questions about his birth certificate, a preacher at his church and his middle name. Who wins that debate ?
The Republicans need to move on and present alternatives.

John McCain was a very crappy pilot. McCain's major religious backer came up with some weird quote about how God created Hitler to move the Jews to Israel. Army Psychologists described him as having "histrionic pattern of personality adjustment"
His wife has had a major drug problem. He dumped his ex-wife after she became disabled in a car accident and married somone young enough t be his daughter. Numerous people witnessed the two togther long before McCain divorced.
He went through over 5 years of communist brain washing - he could be a Manchurian candidate.
How much of this did you hear about during the election ? How many times was this brought up during a Obama stump speech? It wasn't - it was mainly brought up duirng his primary runs. The reason? NOBODY CARES!

The mainstream media were/are Obama activists, perhaps that is but one of the reasons the public did not hear or read enough.

And his fiscal plans should be indicitive where he stands and wishes to go.

By the way, idiots tend to ramble, and those who think they know what everybody cares about are even worse.

We are no better than the people who we elect, and this thread is turning out to be a showcase of that.
