Years ago there use to be "job creation schemes". Job lose is high, so pay people money to do something - anything, just to lower the unemployment rate. Of course that type of economics has since been discredited, so they changed the name to "stimulus". I think this is aimed at people who believe in that.
Yep, that's the bottomline. There's a study out about Spain's experience in massive (government) investment in 'green' power, and if I recall, for every job 'created' by the program, 3 were lost from the private economy.
That's what I was getting at with the survey: Do this people not get that increased labour inefficiency is a bad thing, or do they know it and twist the presentation for the cause?
