Who is the greatest PM that Canada never had?

Make suggestions in this thread and we'll build a poll.

Calgary Grit just did one on his blog & Preston Manning came out on top in the final over Bob Stanfield. However I supported Stanfield. The best Preem Nova Scotia ever had & someone wholly undeserving of the bumbling label he got in the 1974 campaign.

I often wonder what John Turner would have been able to accomplish if he had not been saddled with Trudeau's legacy. I think he could have been a good PM, maybe even a great one, but he never really had a chance. Plus, Chretien would never have been PM if Turner had been more successful, so that has to be a big plus right there.

Don't know how Stockwell would have done. So I will nominate Turner, even though he was actually a PM for a few months, and Manning.
