I would have put a poll up but I'm not sure who the likely contenders are and what their policies would be so I leave the debate up to you guys.
Personally, I'm leaning towards Frank Klees. |

| I heard Tim Hudak might be good as well. He's young but a blue tory. |

Tim would be the obvious choice as Frank has drawn criticism for being Tory's strong arm.
I would prefer Randy Hillier but Toronto and the media paint him as a knuckle-dragger.Word has it Liz is a non performer in the caucus. |

after last nights lost , tory better be planning on leaving as leader soon , that was his last chance and his time in politics is clearly over , i think some would of been more impressed with him if he had won and returned to the legislature but over time last nights odd results might not be all that bad if the party rebuilds , finds a new leader and finds some better policy .
i have no favorites yet in whats looks like an eventually leadership race . and think the party needs to look good and hard this time before we pick anyone as leader , we can't afford another mistake . |

I don't think the PM wants to lose any members with a minority government.
Tony Clement was at the OPC convention, I like Tony. |

Klees was the guy behind the schools fiasco, as was Flaherty, so Klees, Flaherty, and his wife are all out in my books. It would be too easy for the Liberals to bring that back up.
I think we need entirely fresh blood for the party.
One guy that has really impressed me recently is Peter Shurman. He's new, an excellent speaker, and most importantly - knows how to lay a smackdown when necessary. He really took CUPE to task during the York strike, and it made me think he might be just what we need.
I'm not sure if he's running or not - but they're talking about him in the papers, and I think he might be the breath of fresh air we need to get out of this rut we're stuck in. |

| doubt a new leader will emerge rate away and would benefit greatly from an active leadership race , we don't want to have a boring acclamation , a race is needed to get people interested . lets hope the party gets some good candidates and see whee it goes from there . |

The same schools fiasco the Liberals quietly gave a tax credit to Ontario citizens to address in the last budget? |

Tim Hudak.
A True Blue Tory he is young, a great speaker and has been around since 1995 and saw how the real Conservatives got it done,
