I think the Conservatives need more of an Anne Coulter not an Obama Girl. Not endorsing her, but Canadian politics doesn't have a lot of unapologetic Conservative advocates who can cut through the BS, articulate their position and yet be presentable in the mainstream media.
Mainstream Canadians are definately *not* ready for a Coulter-esque pundit. She makes good press, mostly by being controversial, and is really not a good ambassador for conservatism, IMO. While I usually enjoy her, she's just way too acerbic for 'severely normal' Canadians, especially while we're still trying to show them that there's nothing scary about us.

I can't really stand Anne Coulter. There are conservative women that are good. She comes across as angry which puts people on the defensive.

Agreed.
I also don't think any Obama girl type is needed, or would be beneficial. It's hacky.

i don't think the party needs an obama girl type , it could benefit from some more younger females as supporters though . but a cheerleader/ media symbol would be kind of odd .
the party be better to focus on finding some strong female candidates to run in none held ridings .
