I hear what you're saying... but Dr. Suzuki's scientific work was never renowned. The only reason he isn't still counting fruit-flies is because the CBC picked him up.

Maybe renowned was a poor choice of words. He was well known and respected in his field though (back in the 60's). He was not picked for his good looks ;-)

Yup. It's too bad Suzuki abandoned scientific principles in his passion for the environment... but it was a good business decision for him. His waterfront mansion in Kits is impressive and an easy walk from his Foundation on 4th Street.
