I really don't understand why people get to elect some one like Miller who has not done enough to keep this city clean and safer.
That's really surprising that Torontonians don't think they deserve some one better and more responsible.

The city as a whole is a mess.
It will take a new mayor three terms to unclog the toilet that has been left for them,
David Miller has been on every TV and Radio channel spouting that Toronto only keeps 5cents on every dollar that is paid by its residents in taxes and that he wants 1% of the PST to go to the city,
I find that shocking, considering that Mississauga only keeps roughly 2cents on every dollar and they are among the best managed cities in the world.
Giving the Toronto government more money will simply lead to more waste, the Subway contract handed to Bombardier was just another example of the total lack of judgment that this City and its leaders have. Bombardier has lost nearly every pricing quote for similar cars (except CTA) over the last four years and we are just giving them the contract?
with Kawasaki, Alstom, Siemens, Rotam, Nippon Shario all currently firms building similar cars that has all beat Bombardier from a pricing stance why was an open bid process not held?
Vancouver is going to public tender for 14 LRV's right now,Edmonton went to tender for 26 and we don't for nearly 100 Subway Cars?
Simply Insane. |

| That is the thing about democracy. You always get the government you deserve. |
