Off topic but interesting. I called Hydro 1 the other day to ask why they were installing the smart meters. The woman who answered the phone told me "" it was for conservation because we are running out of electricity." She told me it was all over the media.
Anther reason to throw the Ontario Liberals out. |

O RLY??? I'm all for tossing Dalton out, but i can't find anything that says we are running out of electricity.... |

As I informed the woman on the phone, "we can't run out of electricity, we make it".
One reason to toss Dalton out is that he has done nothing about constructing the proposed Darlington nuclear plant and the St Catherines hydro plant. He has allowed 7 windfarms to be built which have taken up huge areas of land and on a bad day produce 20 to 80 MW of electricity combined. No wonder we are running out of electricity. |

100% efficient, can't get any better than that, at least until the invent the fusion furnace. :P | With electric heat you also eliminate that nasty carbon monoxide problem that seems to get a few every year.
They are selling some kind of light bulb powered heater on TV lately. |

Do bad they can't make energy out of carbon monoxide. Might come in handy when we run out of electicity. |
